Aditya Viswanathan grew up in Los Alamos, New Mexico, where the surrounding mountains and hiking trails helped foster his love for nature and the outdoors. His experiences exploring wild landscapes—and photographing wildlife on safaris in India, Kenya, and Brazil—deepened his appreciation for the planet and inspired his interest in combating climate change and helping the environment. He has worked on projects in regards to mitigating human-wildlife conflict and modeling how climate change has affected population trends of migratory birds in New Mexico. Aside from this work, he enjoys playing tennis and playing the viola for his school orchestra.
